Business process automation for UK small businesses

We automate the repetitive admin that eats into a small team’s week: chasing invoices, building quotes, onboarding new starters, copying data between systems and pulling together reports. Each job is scoped and priced before any work begins.

In plain terms

Business process automation and workflow automation

A business process is a job your team do the same way every time: an invoice goes out, a reminder follows, the payment is matched. Business process automation sets those steps to run by themselves once the job starts.

Workflow automation is the part that moves the work between people and systems. A confirmed new starter triggers the contract, the accounts and the welcome emails without anyone having to pass the job along.

Either way, the judgement stays with your team. What goes is the retyping, the reminders and the chasing.

How a project runs

From first call to a working automation

1

A free 30-minute assessment

We look at how the work moves through your business today, where the time goes and which systems hold the information. If automation will not give a clear return, we say so.

2

A fixed price and a plan

You get a written scope, a fixed price and a realistic timescale before anything is built, so the cost is known up front.

3

Build and test

We build on the tools you already pay for, using Microsoft Power Automate, Make or Zapier, and test everything before handover. Most projects are delivered within two to four weeks of the assessment.

4

Training and handover

Your team are trained as standard, so they can run and adjust the automation themselves without calling us every time something changes.

Same-day quotes for a UK-wide field service company

We built a quotation workflow that captures each enquiry, prices it and produces a professional quote the same day, with no spreadsheet in between. The full write-up covers what was built and what changed.

Common questions

Business automation: common questions

Which processes are worth automating first?

Start with the task that happens most often, follows the same steps each time and is done by someone whose time is better spent elsewhere. Invoice chasing, quotes, onboarding paperwork, copying data between systems and regular reports usually come out on top. The free assessment is where we work that out for your business.

Do we need to buy new software?

Usually not. We build on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and connect the accounts, CRM and other systems you already use. If a tool is needed that you do not have, it is named in the scope and the price before work starts.

How long does a project take?

Most projects are delivered within two to four weeks of the assessment. A single, simple automation can be live within days.

Do we need anyone technical on our side?

No. We handle the technical work and train your team to run what we build. The automations are designed for the people who use them every day, not for IT specialists.
